Stock Controller – Johannesburg

Manufacturer of commercial equipment – catering industry

General description
• Controlling the product inflow & output – at each of the designated warehouses as well as inter warehouse transfers.
• Matching stock against mandated stock levels – for selected warehouses.
• Avoiding stock outs & excesses.
• Monitoring & maintaining stock levels, ensuring quantities that appear in the system are accurate.
• Ensure all inventory & stock management systems – are maintained accurately, within the agreed parameters and in a timely manner.
• Complete all necessary stock takes / cycle counts
• Maintain the storeroom & the allocation of space for stock.
• Arranging returns to suppliers.
• Identify & make recommendations – on the disposal of surplus & slow moving items.
• Ensure adequate controls are in place to safeguard stock levels at all times.
• Forecasting of stock requirements & recommending purchase volumes.

Essential Requirements
• Matric + relevant qualifications
• Must have SYSPRO experience
• 5 years’ experience
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Must be able to work under pressure

Salary: R12k – R15k pm CTC – negotiable with the experience
