Seeking an experienced Store / Inventory Controller for a company based in Edenvale
Must have Grade 12 with Stores experience

Responsibilities and duties
Understanding stock and code systems.
Run a system of Purchase Orders to checking the physical delivery, to writing the manual GRV, to collating all documents, to forwarding documents to accounts, to updating manual Kardex to filing of Test Certificates by Job No
Controlling consumables issues to the workshop:
Run a system of issuing stock on an SMV written by the workshops, to updating manual Kardex
Balancing of Manual Kardex to quantities physically in stock.
This would include interim stock counts and the final month end count.
Accountable for variances.
Balancing of Manual Kardex to quantities reflecting on Syspro.
This would include interim and final month end checks.
Ensuring that consumables received are inspected, correctly identified and allocated to the correct stock code.
Ensuring that all material certificates compare with material identification and then correctly filed.
Controlling consumables issued to the workshops.
Ensuring that all consumables are re-ordered to requirements of the individual stock codes.
Controlling the issue of consumables by strict and forceful control to systems, i.e. ensuring that all paper work is completed correctly and signed by appropriate authorized signatories within the stipulated time periods.
Liaising with estimating, planning and procurement with regards all materials and consumables.
Keeping all stores areas in a neat, organized and documented manner.
Assisting with maintaining manual Kardex and reconciling with Syspro of Raw Materials – full plates and off-cuts.
Assisting with maintaining a system that all offcuts are identified with serial number and heat number and recaptured back into stock (Manual Kardex and Syspro)
Any other duties as assigned by Management
