Storage Specialist – Sandton

Monitoring, reporting and troubleshooting of the Storage Environment
Ensure that all storage related CA calls are address within a 94% SLA.
To manage the environment, as the company data storage grows and new hardware is purchased.
Assisting in delivering storage related projects.

Qualifications and experience
IT tertiary qualification
EMC Storage certification will beneficial
At least 3 years EMC Array’s (VMax and VNX) and Storage Area Networks Symantec Storage Foundation experience running on a Solaris Unix platform
Symantec Storage Foundation experience running on a Solaris Unix platform.
Day to day EMC Storage Array administration which include creating capacity, assigning capacity host, zoning, formatting the volume with a file system, mount point, scripts and documentation.
Oracle Solaris and Symantec Storage Foundation working experience will be beneficial
Required to work after hours and weekends

Salary is negotiable on experience
