Store Manager (Restaurant), Muizenberg

Salary:                                    R19 000 – R25 000 per month

Area:                                      Muizenberg - Western Cape

 

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

 

The Manager is responsible for the direct management of the site’s Fresh Food operations including the staffing, supply chain management, product management and ensuring that the various retail disciplines are adhered to.

 

SKILL & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

 

Professional qualification from accredited Culinary Institution or relevant industry experience

The ability to analyse and take action on financial and operational reports

Planning and organising skills

Good interpersonal skills in respect of:

Sound communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Analytical ability and attention to detail

Sound feedback and follow-up skills

Customer service excellence

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA)

 

Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance

Financial control and adhere to company standards and service levels to increases sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs

Responsible for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance

with company policies and procedures

Stock Management and sstorage management

Food safety and planning

Customer service

Food Production

Assist with Quality Control programs to assure product quality.

Bakery and restaurant’s safety and planning

Bakery Production and Bakery Sales

General Operational responsibilities

Ensuring that Housekeeping is managed according to SOP

Personnel and staff management
