Basic store Standards
• Maintaining Store merchandising standards, ensuring maximum impact, look and feel
• Maintaining cleanliness
• Staff in correct uniform

Stock control
• Conducting accurate stock takes
• Managing a balanced actual stock on hand to expected
• Issuing and receiving stock
• Replenishing stock

Sales
• Conducting daily sales meetings before work/shift
• Growing customer database per store
• Revising fresh sale pitches, strengthening product and brand knowledge
• Tour the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues;
• Respond to customer complaints and comments;
• Reaching allocated targets
• Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges
• Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
• Demonstrate use or operation of merchandise
• Bag or package purchases, and wrap gifts

• Deal with staffing issues

• The manager will need to drive sales, streamline operations, manage stock shrinkage, have an eye for Visual Merchandising, work well under pressure, adhere to company policies and procedures
