Job Purpose:
The Store Manager leads and manages the Store Team to meet and exceed sales targets. Strong operational talent is needed to ensure customer service levels, store, and staff presentation is maintained according to company standards. Company Key Performance Indicators and daily tasks must be achieved and all operational activities
controlled. Effective leadership ensures that all team members are coached and developed to full potential.

To sell product and promote the Company Brand. To create the Company experience within the stores. To effectively manage the movement of stock in and out of the store. Manage Visual Merchandise and the appearance of the store.

BEFORE OPENING THE STORE
• Ensure the shop floor is swept and mopped
• Rubbish is taken out
• Ensure your store is free of dust and your counter is always clean and clear of any clothing or objects
• Ensure the store is replenished
• All hangers are set accordingly
• All clothes are in size curve at all times
• Ensure all stock ( dirty and damaged) is set aside
• Ensure stock room is kept neat and tidy and all replenishing stock is neatly packed in crates and drawers within the store
• Ensure all keep asides are within the 3 day period and customers are called and informed
• Ensure all equipment ( steamers, merchandising rail and sound system) are in working order and neatly stored
• Ensure the general look of the store is at a company standard
• Ensure you are in full uniform i.e. make up, hair presentable, name badge and bracelet are worn at all times
• Ensure that all promotions and product knowledge is up to date and relevant
• Switch on all systems, music and lights. Make sure that everything is working correctly
TASKS
• Store Manager is responsible for the efficient running of the store, focusing on stock, marketing and people to drive sales
• Build customer relations
• Assist customers with styling of outfits
• Upselling of COMPANY apparel and other products in the store to customers
• Promoting the COMPANY brand and its philosophy
• Be sales focused and target driven
• Responsible for reaching personal sales target and working towards the store target
• Ensure that all PRO FIT techniques are followed with each and every customer
• Ensure that cash-ups is being done correctly and sent to Head Office daily
• Adhere to company processes and policies on cash management i.e. cash ups / banking
• Ensure that all promotions taking place are fully understood and implemented
• Assist in actively marketing the brand and products
• Assist, promote and participate in Lifestyle Legacy associated programs and events
• Perform any other tasks that may be deemed reasonable by management from time to time
STAFF
• Responsible for the leadership of sales, targets and all staff matters
• Informing all management staff if a change to the roster is made in writing and the reason for this
• Manage and motivate staff to drive sales and create a positive experience for all clients
• Ensure daily that all staff scheduled to work are present
• Manage sick leave, annual leave and absenteeism of store staff
• Ensure staff are all dressed in accordance to COMPANY uniform code

STOCK
• Managing the sale rail and stock movement in and out of the store.
• Manage the stock level of the store and address with Store Manager for replenishments
• Ensure that stock is ordered before they run out
• Responsible for the movement of old stock to the required location determined by management
• Assist in regular stock take and product display and layout before and after trading hours

END OF DAY
• Ensure day end has been filled out and X and Z report has been printed before leaving the store
• EFT slips batch reports are attached to the DTR form and make sure everything is filled in correctly and in full
• Before closing ensure the store is clean and neat. Ensure all drawers, cupboards, doors etc. are closed
• Switch off necessary machinery, i.e. music, lights etc… the computers are to remain on in order for maintenance and synchronizing to be done after the store is closed
• Hangers are hanging correctly
• Stock room is tidy and clean
• All counters are clear of clutter and unnecessary objects or paperwork
