RedCat Recruitment is seeking experienced STORE MANAGERS / ASSISTANT STORE MANAGERS (FMCG FOOD INDUSTRY) for a large reputable retailer. Positions are based in Pietermaritzburg, Durban and Richards Bay.

REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
Computer literate.
Person must be able to speak English competently.
5 years’ retail management experience in a FMCG (food) environment.
Achieving store profitability by monitoring efficiencies and ensuring the pricing of goods is correct.
Stock management which includes ordering, receiving of stock, stock rotation, stock takes and ensuring that the quality of stock is never compromised.
Staff management which includes staff motivation, training, performance management, operational management and the discipline of staff.
Customer service to the extent that the candidate is able to manage customer requirements and expectations and manage staff to ensure that excellent customer service is maintained at all times.
Hygiene and safety which includes the management of the overall store hygiene and implementation of the company’s safety regulations.
General administration which includes cashing up, banking and the analysis of back office reports etc.

Salary package offered: - R15 000-00 – R17 000-00 per month (negotiable, depending on previous experience).
