Stores Administrator - (2 year fixed term contract)

Job Content
The role of Stores Administrator is to ensure that all input and updating of various transactions relating to all stores functions is timeously and accurately done for record purposes

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Plans and schedules the daily requirements for end users by preparing and printing of picking list.
• All deviations on picking list to be highlighted by data capture clerk and handed to warehouse supervisor for further investigation.
• Any recurring problems to be taken up with warehouse supervisor and inventory superintendent.
• Capturing of all delivery notes for goods received.
• Ensuring that no delivery document is processed that does not comply with the standards and procedures for the department.
• Liasing with suppliers if anomalies are found on delivery documents and resolving issues if possible.
• Communication with Warehouse Supervisor on the mine if unable to resolve issue.
• Printing of goods receipt notes for deliveries and matching to supplier delivery documents and then distributing to Stores Adminbistrator for binning and delivery purposes
• Management of all items returned to stores.
• Management of all items returned to suppliers for credit/replacement, including the returns for all site supplier stores.
• Preparing permits to remove company property from site and forwarding of copies to relevant parties for info purposes
• Manage and control the delivery process carried out by own staff and delivery contractor.
• Plan and manage the delivery schedule

• Extensive General Stores experience

Qualifications & Experience
• Grade 12 certificate
• Diploma in warehousing/inventory management
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge and use of Pastel and SAP
• Knowledge and use of MS Office software.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with regards to all warehousing functions
