Broad Purpose / Function:

Co-ordinate and manage the full stores activity
Education
• Matric or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license +Code 10
• Forklift license will be an advantage
Experience
• Min of 5 years experience gained Supervising a team.
• Min 3 years Experience gained as a Stores Supervisor – responsible for the full stores function as well as the supervision of the stores team
• Computer literate with Excel and Word
• Cispro or similar
• Good communication skills
• Accurate numerical skills
• Planning and organizing ability
• Shifts and Overtime
DUTIES:
1. Plan and organize your staff and their daily activities.
2. Monitoring and controlling the flow of product
3. Full accountability for: GRN’s, IWT’s, SRN’s, Job Cards
4. Inventory counts and cycle counts
5. Housekeeping
6. Warehouse administration
7. Loading and off-loading times of containers, vessels and road vehicles
8. Ensuring that the work environment is maintained in accordance with set health and safety standards
9. Planning stock counts
10. Record keeping of stock movement is maintained
11. Maintain ISO management system
12. Adherence to documented procedures and controls
13. Customer liaison
14. Adherence to policies and procedures
15. Disciplining and management of staff
16. General Housekeeping
