We are currently looking for the excellent services of an excellent Stores Supervisor to join our exciting team! The purpose of the position would be to oversee the efficient storage of goods in/from the warehouse and all branches.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills;

- Working knowledge of the SAP system, advanced Excel & Power Point
- Knowledge of ISO quality procedures

- Experience in operation & Logistics a must
- 5 years' experience of warehousing and inventory control
- Experience in the Mining & Motor Industry highly advantageous

Responsibilities:

The Store Supervisor 707 will work with a team of staff and will deal with issues such as training and discipline of staff. Store Supervisor deals with planning, coordination, administration & general management issues which include the day to day supervision of staff and overseeing work.

- Having a clear understanding of the companies’ policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these;
- Check daily sales and replenish stock as needed.
- Keeping stock control systems up to date, ensuring inventory accuracy
- Monitoring staff performance & progress
- Managing staff time keeping & productivity
- Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded;
- Produces regular reports and statistics on a monthly basis;
- Maintains standards of health & safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
- Responsible for the smooth running, accuracy and recording of Bin audits, cycle counts, and wall to wall counts including year -end counts & stock takes with external auditors
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts, reconciling with SAP system
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counselling and disciplining employees and planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
- Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area.
- Manage control measures to avoid mistakes, inaccuracies & discrepancies.
