STORES (Warehouse) MANAGER – West Rand
West-Rand based Engineering Company (manufacturing environment)

Salary: R30, 000 pm – negotiable with the experience

Job Description:
1. Monitor the receipt of goods
2. Ensure prompt packing of new stock via hand-on-management
3. Keeping all stock up to date (on hand stock / bin locations / job issues etc.)
4. Focus on inventory accuracy
5. Organize the recruitment and training of staff
6. Control inventory levels by conducting - Weekly, Monthly and Annual Cycle / Stock Count, includes planning, managing and confirming
7. Ensuring that urgent stock items are fast tracked through the system correctly.
8. Ensuring job issues are done correctly and the correct documentation is handed over to “customer”
9. Maintaining min/max stock holding. Highlight critical stock levels
10. Good understanding of stock reconciliation
11. Safeguard warehouse content
12. Planning, scheduling and assigning tasks to employees and confirm tasks have been completed
13. Create a culture of accountability within the stores staff structure
14. Complex parts structure in Store - which requires a strong background in the appliance industry
15. Commitment to long hours
16. Setting up of practical systems to simplify the process

Essential Requirements
• Matric + relevant qualifications / experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role
• MS Office (Excel Spreadsheets – A MUST)
• SYSPRO
• Strong background – in the appliance industry
• Strong team player, but also a “no-nonsense” strong personality
• Strong IT background – advantageous
