Our client is the leading independent management consulting firm in South Africa, They provide services such as strategic Adversaries, HR Performance and Process Innovation, Technology Enablement and Risk finance and Analytic. They have been in existence for more then 15 years.

We are seeking to attract a target-driven and independent relationship builder to oversee our sales team; develop and execute sales strategies, plans and campaigns; train and mentor sales staff; interface with relevant business professional and industry leaders in the Financial Services, Retail or Telco environments to understand and respond to market opportunities.

Key Performance Areas:

Develop and maintain "partner of choice" client relationships within 1 key client
Development, implementation and review of regional client and sales plans:
Liaise with client management to develop and implement client plans in line with objectives for the fiscal year.
Collection and interpretation of relevant market, client and competitor information.
Implementation, monitoring / maintenance and evaluation of key account plans.
Performance vs. plans
Promotional evaluations
Good knowledge and understanding of financial services/retail/telco mechanisms and the entire range of products and services useful to corporate organisations, with knowledge of their mechanisms, customer benefits, limitations, profitability and value in developing strategically long term business relationships.
Utilise this knowledge to identify cross selling opportunities and identify the relevant resources within client(s) to optimise these selling opportunities
Relationship management principles and practice.
Team goal structuring and planning skills - knows how to leverage the expertise of the team.
Able to manage assets and liabilities on the balance sheet.
Ability to present and pitch ideas effectively to leadership
Ability to organise and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritisation to meet numerous deadlines
Cold call and sourcing prospective clients and new business
Qualifications and Experience:

Matric
Completed Commerce Degree / Diploma
10 years plus working experience
5 - 6 Years Sales Experience in a Financial Services, Corporate Banking environment)
3 years plus at a Management level
Experience in sales strategy, sales and financial budgets; Key Account management
Successful history with regards to the negotiation and closure of deals
Existing client base / Network a pre-requisite
Proof of previous / current on target earnings will be required
