To be successful in the above role, the incumbent should possess/ display the following key skills/attributes:
 Project Management.
 Experience in Tender management.
 Pricing experience essential.
 Sales and estimate experience.
 Logistics knowledge and experience required.
 Product knowledge.
 Preferable experience should include finance.
 Good financial background is essential.
 Sales tools and estimate knowledge.
 Strong relationships with service providers.

Tasks:
Formulation of pricing strategies for the region in conjunction with sales, vertical markets and product management.
Management and implementation of the governance around the pricing review process.
Support to GM’s on pricing complaints and queries.
Coordination of the pricing communication elements and implementation thereof.
Relationships and support to key stakeholders in the business, these being the various product houses, sales units, vertical markets and KAM’s.
Guidance and mentoring of estimators to ensure pricing strategies and objectives are met.
Centralize tender management for South Africa and SSA.
Planning reviews and submittal deadlines for tenders.
Leading the relevant product houses on tender requirements, analysis of solutions, compilation, and submission of tenders.
Gathering and compiling input from all relevant stake holders (legal, finance, etc.) for tenders.
Ensuring the solution and pricing meet customer’s specific requirements, as well operational capabilities.
Negotiations with services providers where necessary.
Create tools for streamlining tender, estimate and pricing functionality.
Monitoring, analysis and reporting back on estimate productivity, price competitiveness and tender success.
Maintenance of tools, pricing, tender documents and systems.
Implementation of pricing and quality checks after implementation.
Administration and maintenance of accurate records, reports and calculations.
