Seeking an accountant who would like to move into sales. Alternatively have a background in accounting/accounting software sales

Extensive travelling will be involved
B Com with completed articles or CA(SA)
Must be familiar with general IT, Excellent in excel and outlook and proficient in word and powerpoint
Must have previous experience within an accounting firm, experience as an account manager is not essential.
execute sales strategies and campaigns, with the main intention of winning small business customers through accountants and bookkeepers in practice. The individual in question will be selling Sage One.
responsible for developing and managing key relationships with accounting firms, working with them to expand their use of Sage’s online solutions and to bring more clients online with Sage One. They’ll also be expected to assist in the development of a practice’s online strategy.
To achieve and or exceed all targets for defined geographical region
Increase referral activity largely via the Adviser Program and proactively identify and win new customers
Create and deliver regional plan for growth engaging support from Inside Sales Team
Create marketing plans with accountants in defined region to increase activity and grow online engagement
Responsible for planning, co-ordinating and delivery of regional based seminars, webinars and events to increase acquisition activity
Maintain on-going account contact to secure targets and avoid sales churn.
To actively seek out new business opportunities, develop new routes to market so that current and future targets can be achieved or exceeded.
Communicate effectively with all in order that both internal and external relationships are managed to the highest standard. Report effectively and accurately all pipeline, appointments, sales and business plans to Senior Sales Manager
Maintain Excellent Levels of Product Knowledge across Online portfolio
Liaise with Commercial and Marketing teams to feed into Promotional Activity and feedback on success of campaigns
Demonstrate creativity in presentation, delivery and customer management style and delivery of results
The ability to think at a strategic level-ability to come up with an effective plan for maximising the territory
