What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Fleet equipment hire sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Strategic Sourcing
* Strategic Supply management
* Setup strategic sourcing strategy and policies
* Evaluate and rank suppliers
* Ensure supplier redundancy
* Setup supplier contracts and SLAs
* Ensure contract and SLAs are adhered to (Monthly auditing)
* Manage supplier pricing, discounts, rebates
* Invoice auditing to ensure what is billed for was delivered

Key Job Deliverables:

* Clean out supplier database (over 6000 suppliers)
* Narrow down suppliers to key strategic suppliers
* Align Supplier Database to BEE scorecard

Background work experience

* 5 years in strategic sourcing
* 2 years in vehicle or similar sourcing
* Dip/Deg Sourcing or Procurement
* Strategic Sourcing
* Supplier Analysis
* Negotiations
* Motor industry

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of 420K p.a. to 540K p.a. per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
