My Client, a leader in the Insurance space, requires a Strategy Manager to report to the GM of Strategy.  We are looking for a top-tier management consultant with strategy experience, to drive alternative distributions strategy.

Lead and collaboratively deliver discrete strategic, new business evaluation or operational improvement projects often working together with one or more strategy analysts
Review market and industry dynamics and produce robust analysis in support of appropriate strategic recommendations to HAD businesses
Evaluate new business opportunities across product, channels and partners in the context of HAD strategy
Conduct proactive investigations to drive improvement and address critical areas of focus and help manage implementation of improvement initiatives
Support HAD business owners in the annual strategy process, helping them to define strategic alternatives, formulate implementation plans and deliver results
 
Work Experience Requirements
3-5 years management, consulting or corporate development experience is critical
Background in strategy consulting or possibly strategy arm of a ‘Big 4’professional services firm, or in-house strategy or corporate development team in consumer or financial services
Ability to manage strategic and operational improvement projects from end-to-end
Experience using analysis to innovate, engage multiple stakeholders and drive change across multiple business areas
Experience in financial services and/or consumer industries highly advantageous
 
Education Requirements
Honours level university degree in finance, engineering, statistics, natural sciences…etc. (BEng, BBusSci, Bsc)
Relevant post-grad qualifications would be advantageous

Strong strategy consulting toolkit skills (Research , analysis, strategy formulation, operational improvement, business assessment/ due diligence, organisational design…etc.)
