Web Engineer / JavaScript Engineer
Web Developer:

We are looking for a web developer who has experience with using java script libraries to dynamically render content on the client (browser) as well as being skilled at building and styling web pages. Candidates with experience using underscore JS, backbone JS, Node JS, and templating libraries like Jade would be preferred.

Requirements:

2 Years work experience or a degree in computer science or information systems, both would be an advantage
Must have a good understanding of HTTP requests and responses
Must have a worked with CSS3
Knowledge of the following JS libraries, require JS, underscore JS, and backbone JS would be preferred
Knowledge of the templating engines like Jade or Handlebars would be preferred
An understanding of web security and how to write secure code for browser clients would be preferred
Having worked with a Node JS sever before would be an advantage would be preferred

Duties:

Analysing specs, basic design and estimating difficulty of own development tasks
Development of new features, maintenance of existing features and bug fixes. Involves using CSS3, HTML(using Jade and Handlebars templating libraries) and Java script(require JS, backbone JS, underscore JS) and any other new technologies we choose to use over time
Liaising with our other teams in order to help in the development of specs and in the investigation of potential issues
Periodically will be build master, which means that the developer will be responsible for ensuring build issues get fixed timeously
Other duties associated with developing in an Agile development environment
