Structural Engineer (Buildings)
A reputable multidisciplinary consulting firm with the services that covers Project Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Quantity Surveying, Town & Regional planning GIS solutions, and Architectural with more than 25 years in operation seeks an experienced Structural Engineer with experience in buildings to join their Johannesburg office. The successful incumbent needs to be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a BEng Degree in Civil Engineering
Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer
Must have 10 years design experience on buildings and water retaining structures
Must be willing to travel to site and to other offices
Must have knowledge of reinforced concrete design, structural steel design and the design of water retaining concrete structures (Reservoirs)
Must have knowledge of current design codes and software’s
Must be able to do any office and site duties as assigned by the head of Structures
