Our client in the Engineering Industry is looking for a Structures sector unit manager .The candidiate will be responsible for the design , co- ordination , management and implementation of Structural projects and the structural elements of multi – disciplinary projects in order to facilitate the growth of the structural business unit in the Gauteng Region. The candidiate must have :
• Bsc Enginnering
• Pr Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years experience
• Facilitate and oversee the Business Development of the Structural Unit in Gauteng to ensure continued growth and that budgets are met
• Preparation of tenders and proposals for Structural Projects and structural elements on multi-disciplinary projects
• Facilitate and oversee the Project Management of Structural Projects internally within GIBB including the conceptual, preliminary and detail design, design reviews and construction monitoring functions for all Structural projects and structural elements on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Monitor project financial performance in the Region, including Bid Cost versus Budget and Effort/Revenue variance, WIP and AR, take corrective actions where required to ensure that budgets for the unit are met.
• Closeout of corrective action Reports (CAR's) following project audits
