Our client, a leading international Mining Group is looking for a highly experienced and qualified Superintendent Engineering (Transport) person to join their team at their Rustenburg operations.

The appointee should:

Have Grade 12 or equivalent
Have a Diploma in Fleet management.
Have 5-10 years’ experience in a related role, of which 5 should have been at a leadership level or experience in a functional/specialist area
Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre

Key responsibilities include:

The Analyse qualitative and quantitative data required to inform a strategic Fleet management plan
Provide guidance and technical expertise on issues related to the management of Surface Fleet in the divisions.
Manage the delivery of Surface Fleet to enable safe and cost effective production
Ensure the efficient and optimum usage of Surface Fleet
Design and implementation of systems and controls to ensure compliance with the applicable regulations and policies related Surface Fleet management
Identify and drive the implementation of action plans and controls to manage compliance within Sibanye
Implement effective internal controls to ensure Corporate Governance
Consolidate, approve and review Surface Fleet information reports
