We are currently looking for a Supervisor to oversee our clients Degroup Facility.

Requirements:

5 years warehousing and transport experience.
Strong, planning and organisational skills.
Ability of work with warehouse management systems
Must be able to handle extreme pressure and be able to meet strict deadlines.
Strong communicating skills (written & verbal).
Must be able to collaborate with employees to develop team spirit.
Must have a drivers licence.
Must be able to work over weekends and after hours on weekdays.
Must be computer literate on MS Office package at intermediate level.


Responsibilities:

Manage the warehouse activities and productivity for the JHB Air Imports operations.
Manage the fleet of vehicles
Sustain Service Delivery levels : De-group, cargo drawing & Transport activities.
Investigate and report on accidents on vehicles under the control of Air Imports.
Manage about 40 staff daily.
Ensure the forklifts in the warehouse are serviced
Control the opening and closing of the Air Imports warehouse daily
Manage the fuel cards for the vehicles
Route Planning of vehicles, including supervision of loading and off-loading of trucks.
Management of daily time sheets
Maintain Health & Safety in work place.
Complete and submit monthly performance reports for De-Group warehouse, cargo drawing and transport department.
