Co-ordinate day to day activities of the Site Mechanical Workshop
Supervise Mechanical Workshop staff
Plan and carry out scheduled preventative and predictive mechanical, electrical and civils maintenance tasks to minimize plant downtime and maintain the plant integrity in compliance with OHSAct requirements
Carry out repairs of plant mechanical equipment
Troubleshoot plant mechanical problems
Compliance with OHSAct requirements
Assist the Plant Engineer in preparation of mechanical, civils and electrical section budgets.
Control statutory inspections of ISO containers
Maintain mechanical and electrical plant equipment maintenance records
Plant planner in preparation of plant shutdowns
Fitter / Turner duties
Manage mechanical, electrical and civils planned and breakdown work orders and maintain equipment history records
Carry out safety inductions
Train subordinates and promote teamwork
Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Responsible Care standards and systems
