Position: SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYTICS MANAGER
Package: Around R900K + performance bonus
Area: Cape Town

Our client is looking to appoint an individual to work as an Analytics Manager in the Supply Chain team.
The candidate should ideally have a BEng (Industrial) or Supply Chain Management or Operations Research degree with 5 to 7 years’ experience within a Supply Chain environment. A minimum of 2 years’ experience should have been in a management position. A portion of this experience must also be of a strategic nature.
The candidate needs to be a self-starter that can take ownership of projects across the Supply Chain within a very short period of time. The successful candidate needs to balance exceptional analytical capability / skills (analysing complex data sets) with the ability to interpret this data to solve and address real world problems. Candidate must also have proven management capability in an analytical context.

Responsibilities:
• Management of analytics team
• Thought leadership around data related problems
• Ownership of all analysis required by Supply Chain and provision of high quality analysis outputs for the division
• Selection of optimal analytics tools for the Supply Chain
• Provision of simulation and scenario planning outcomes for Supply Chain solutions
• Bridging gap between problems cases and data, from multiple data inputs and systems
• On-going alignment with other departments on items such as stock cover and related issues
