HR Legend was tasked to find an experience Supply Chain Executive for a position which become in Cape Town. This position is the strategic leader across integration, warehouse and logistics and responsible for ensuring that the company’s every day operational activities run efficiently and effectively. The individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of our client's integrations and facilities which includes maintenance, quality, safety and projects. This position reports to the Executive Director.

Minimum Qualifications, Competencies and Experience:

• Formal Degree – Logistics, Commercial and/or Supply Chain related
• 10 years of experience in Senior Management (Supply Chain and Logistics Operations)
• Previous experience overseeing the management of warehouses is an absolute must
• Solid experience overseeing mulitple sites

Key Performance Areas:

• Provide executive leadership for supply chain including intercompany and third party integration, warehousing, logistics, continuous improvement and key strategic initiatives.
• Communicate and implement strategic plan to generate operational improvements and improve our customer experience.
• Provide increased stability, predictability and capable of addressing specific issues across areas of accountability.
• Strategic planning on supply chain growth opportunities that include infrastructure, resource, system and procurement requirements.
• Be a strong coach to our existing team and capable of recruiting and developing a team that can deliver the company vision.
• Managing industrial relations, negotiations and team performance.
• Create and execute lean methodologies to increase efficiency, service levels and profitability.
• Oversee maintenance such as warehouse\equipment infrastructure management and on-going maintenance to ensure services delivery and cost-efficient use of business assets.
• Drive daily compliance on all legal requirements that include safety, customer certifications, food safety and policies.
• Projects, compliance and managing all expansion projects from infrastructure design, building and implementation.
• Involve in budget development and responsible for delivery against budget and targets.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Supply Chain integration, projects and compliance (10 years plus).
• Demonstrate success from previous experience in a senior leadership role managing multiple supply chain teams.
• Forward-thinking perspective on supply chain with experience finding opportunities to integrate analytics and technology into operations.
• Ability to manage competing demands and set priorities providing a strong process and systematic thinking.
• Ability to create and implement measurements, processes and control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working successfully with a combination of in-house and third-party capabilities.
• Ability to lead and develop high performance culture that include goal/KPI management processes, negotiations and leadership skills.
• Cost/Efficiency implementation and management.
• Working knowledge of facilities equipment, operations and management.
• Effective decision making.
