Our international FMCG manufacturing Client urgently requires a Logistics Specialist – Inbound and Outbound, to join their South African branch.

Minimum Requirements

Head and shoulders photograph together with updated CV
Valid passport/identity document
Bachelor’s Degree (Logistics/finance/supply chain)
Member of SAPICS
CDDP certification
Computer literate in SAP Accounting/Microsoft Word and Excel
Be calm, level headed with the ability to work accurately under pressure
Stable career with contactable landline references
5 – 7 years’ work experience in the FMCG supply chain field
Be a highly successful team leader with good verbal and written communication skills
An enthusiastic, positive person who embraces and facilitates change with urgency and persistence
Police Clearance Certificate

Key Responsibilities

Analyse, assess, manage and mitigate risk.
Make continuous improvements in levels of efficiency, productivity, quality and flexibility.
Maintain and improve the level of service to customers and suppliers.
Instituting and monitoring own KPIs -inventory obsolescence, production, time management, waste management.
Identify opportunities to streamline product flow and drive waste reduction
Manage the flow of finished goods from inbound receipt to outbound order fulfilment.
Work closely with plant operations staff, management, suppliers and customers with a multidisciplinary approach.
Contribute to the development of a supply chain strategy and operational plans.
