Job Description:

To manage the implementation of the supply chain strategy
Monitor, manage and review business units policies, processes and procedures
Engage in strategic relationships with relevant stakeholders
Monitor compliance with relevant legislation throughout all business units
Analyse service delivery gaps and challenges and implement remedial action strategies
Conduct trend analysis and forecasting
Facilitate the procurement of goods and serices
Manage logistics and assets to comply with the (PFMA) and other supply chain regulation
Manage the contract management of externally provided serices

Requirements:
A recognized B degree or NQF Level 7 qualification preferably in Logistics/Supply chain/Management/Finance
Atleast 8 years demonstrated experience in Supply Chain of which 5 years should be in middle management
Membership of a professional body in the SCM will be an added advantage
Extensive and in-depth knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations,BBBEE and Suppl Chain Framework
Knowledge of the Code of Conduct for Supply Chain Management Practitioners
