Our International Client is a leader in the Renewable Energy industry based in Cape Town. They have an opportunity for a SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER to join their EPC Team in the Northern Cape on a Fix Term Contract of minimum 12 months.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Industrial Engineering Degree, preferably at Honours or Masters level.
CSCP certification.
At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in supply chain solutions development in the Renewal Energy (Solar), Contract Logistics and Transport Logistics field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritising of workload with attention to detail;
Computer literacy with good numeracy skill;
A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning;
Self-motivated with a willingness to accept responsibility and challenges;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Duties & Responsibilities
Supply Chain Solution Development.
Operational Excellence.
Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports.
Ensure that RFQ's/RFE's/RFP's are conducted, completed, submitted, reported and captured into CRM.
Ensure that post RFQ/RFE/RFP's are conducted, reported and captured into CRM in collaboration with the sales and commercial teams.
Conduct feasibility studies to determine the financial and operational viability of logistics projects.
Collaborate with the various product management, senior management and decision makers to share information, problem solve and clarify. management objectives.
Warehouse optimization and design support for the warehousing division - internal & external.
Ensure close evaluation of all competitors and keep abreast of new business practices.
Lead the analysis of the prospective client's needs and the proposal of appropriate supply chain solutions.
Participate in the development of supply chain solutions for the company.
