SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER

A manufacturing company based in New Germany, KZN, is looking for an experienced of a Supply Chain Manager. The company is in an exciting growth phase and provides a challenging and interesting environment for individuals to grow and develop. The culture within the organisation is very much team orientated.

Job Responsibilities
• Plan and prioritise orders to ensure production efficiency and that all targets are met
• Ensure availability of raw materials to ensure successful execution of the production plan
• Monitor jobs to ensure that they are on plan and will be completed within allowable timeframes
• Address issues as and when they arise aiming for minimum disruption to production flow
• Prepare and submit status and performance reports
• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff
• Liaise with sales to ensure efficient flow of timeous accurate information
• Negotiating, liaising and placing orders with suppliers

Qualifications/Requirements

• Matric wit tertiary qualification / relevant training programs preferable
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• High level of computer literacy
• Previous SYSPRO system experience (highly advantageous)
• Previous experience as a production planner highly advantageous
