The employer is a reputable major player in the Supply Chain Solutions Sector within SA with operations overseas and part of large and successful listed holding group

The Project Manager will be responsible to manage the implementation and delivery of various business projects, including:
• Providing business, technical and project management consulting as well as facilitating project definition
• Planning processes
• Project risk mitigation
• Project reporting
• Task driven and task orientated

The successful candidate must have:
• Matric Qualification
• B.Eng / B.Comm / Information System degree or Post graduate qualification in Business / project Management
• Project Management qualification beneficial
• Previous experience as a Project Manager: minimum 3 years
• Certification or knowledge by practise of a Project methodology i.e. PMBOK / Prince II
• Competent in Microsoft project tool
• Knowledge of other Microsoft tools i.e. Word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio
• Experience in integrated supply chain, transportation solutions or other system implementations will be advantageous
• Experience in Cash Industry beneficial
• Strong administrative skills
• Strong organisation skills
• Good repute with team members and clients from Junior to Senior Management level
• Driver’s License
• Own reliable transport

Your busy and challenging day will include but not limited to:
Responsible to manage the implementation and delivery of various business projects, including:
• Providing business, technical and project management consulting,
• as well as facilitating project definition and

• Successful; on time, as per the scope and according to budget project delivery
You will work closely with the Programme / Enablement Management and will be expected to manage work delivery from a number of project teams.
• The role may require some of local travel
Construction of Project Charters
• Fast track approval of charters by relevant stakeholders
• Mobilization of Project Team members
• Construction of Project Plans
• Execution of project plans
• Construction, planning and execution of project kick-off meetings
Project Scope management
• Understanding and unpacking the scope of work from the client based on the requirements
• Unpack and define the scope for team alignment
• Validation of the scope with relevant stakeholders
• Formal approval of the scope from relevant stakeholders
• Execution of the scope, manage and control scope creeps changes

Project Cost Management
• Allocating resources to the project based on their WW grade, company approved CTC’s and duration allocated to a particular project
• Controlling and managing budgets
• Curbing non-adherence
• Reporting on anomalies and take action
Project Quality Management
• Defining and planning quality
• Attention to detail
• Adherence to quality assurance and controls
Project Resource Management
• Organization planning – allocation of right resources to right roles based on competency and experience per project
• Staff acquisition
• Team development
Project Communication Management
• Construction of communication templates for meetings and reporting
• Defining the frequency of meetings
• Define how information will be distributed
• Save all project content in a shared area
Project Risk Management
• Adherence to the risk template
• Log the anticipated risks of the project as per template requirements
• Quantification of risks
• Each risks to be mitigated as per template requirements
• Follow and close each risk upon project completion
• Control and manage the risk register / template
Project Close-out Management
• Complete lessons learnt per each milestone achieved on a pre-defined template per each work stream
• Conduct the customer satisfaction survey as per Project methodology
• Review lessons learnt with team for alignment
• Present to the Project Sponsor for sign off
• File / save the lessons learnt in a shared area
