A leading pharmaceutical company is searching for a Supply Chain Specialist to urgently join their team.
Description
In order to be considered the following is required:
3-5 years in a similar role
Preferably minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain position within a multinational environment
Demand planning, inventory optimisation & logistics experience in the pharmaceutical industry an added advantage
Degree with major in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
APICS certification (or studying towards) an advantage
SAP functionality related to SC management knowledge is mandatory
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Ensure products reach end users, whilst adhering to best practice principles within South Africa in order to secure product supply in accordance with agreed KPI targets
Ensure master data is aligned to support demand planning principles
Monitoring and understanding demand plan accuracy with the aim of minimising inaccuracies and the impact thereof
Drive monthly collaborative processes with business and Supply Chain Point of contact to 3PL in the market
Monitoring of daily SAP interfaces with the 3PL (inventory snapshot; iDoc error monitor) and assist connected streams impacted by inventory (order-to-cash)
Accountable & responsible for execution and follow up of the nett requirement plan for commercial goods
Tender demands and samples in ERP systems
Maintaining and monitoring stock in terms of strategic inventory management, by monitoring forecasting & planning accuracy via demand management
Embed the revised demand forecasting processes to support the Supply Chain Operating model and Core Commercial Cycle
Manage end to end demand forecasting (both volume and value) across multiple categories to improve customer service levels and to reduce end-to-end COGS and working capital
Accountable for meeting KPI's related to Supply Chain management (OTIF, monthly stock levels (MT), CSL, DOI) New product launch/change
Maintain the iDoc error monitor in conjunction with the inventory snapshot to ensure full inventory alignment between GBS & 3PL Create/change/approve new customer master data in the SAP system Understand the interrelatedness and flow between order to cash stream
3PL & Demand Management functions Indirect procurement maintenance and system troubleshooting between interfaces of inbound deliveries and data transmission to 3PL Organisational
