The Supply Chain Unit Manager is responsible for ensuring the compliance and implementation of all regional operational and project transactions within the framework of the company Supply Chain Management Policy and Procedures Manual, as well as certain associated administrative functions.
In addition, the successful candidate must provide solution-orientated assistance, guidance and training to the Region in respect of all supply chain procedures and requirements.
Academic Qualifications and Key Role Requirements:
? Post graduate degree in one of the following fields: engineering, contracts management, law, or similar;
? A minimum of 10 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain management and contract management;
? Experience in dealing with the procurement of engineering contracts
Skills and Competency of the ideal candidate:
? The ability to work independently as well as in a team;
? A high level of organisational and leading/guiding and facilitating skills;
? Excellent computer proficiency, writing communication and presentation skills;
? Clear understanding and knowledge of application of The Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), The Preferential Policy Frame work Act (PPPFA), The Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act (BBBEE) and The Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act, as well as the King report on Good Corporate Governance.

o The SA Constitution;
o The Public Finance Management Act (PFMA);
o National Treasury Practices Notes;
o The Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA);
o The Broad Base Black Economic Empowerment Act;

o The Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act
