Support Engineer – Junior and Senior

Location: Sandton, JHB
Salary: R13k - R19k depending on experience

Requirements:

Experience with Windows Server Standard and SBS , Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange ,Firewall technologies (Cyberoam), Anti Virus, DNS, DHCP, RAID Configurations, UPS and Backup technologies
You have excellent problem solving ability, you are a quick learner and enjoy a challenge
'Hands on' experience in this type of role is important –
You have a friendly aptitude, enjoy multitasking... and most importantly like working with people and problem solving!
You are familiar with a support ticketing systems and don’t mind the admin side of IT Support

Junior Support Engineer:
End User, Desktop and Limited Server related support. Year Experience: 1-3 Years Preferential Qualifications: A+, N+, ACMT, MCTS

Senior Support Engineer:
End User, Desktop, Server Administration and Infrastructure Implementations. Written incident reporting to management and end users. High Level Planning, Customer Requirements Gathering, Implementation. Year Experience: 5+ Years Preferential Qualifications: A+, N+, ACMT, MCSE, MCITP

Duties:
The Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining long term relationships with SLA customers.
Required to provide onsite and remote desktop support.
Responsible for the deliverables of the support plan which includes but not limited to guaranteed response times, preventative maintenance, asset monitoring and infrastructure improvements.
Identify, troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely fashion
