Opportunity exists for a Support Engineer you will be responsible for trouble shooting and resolving all IT issues (hardware or software related). Responsible for installing and maintaining solutions based on both Linux-based products and Microsoft.
You need strong technical and communication skills, both verbal and written and you must be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills. Complement our client’s team with your passion for how technology delivers business value in an exciting, client-centred and fast paced environment.
Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Technical IT qualification (A+, N+, MCSE)
- Ubuntu, Linux, Windows, Debian, OTRS, Microsoft Office, Open Office
- IT Support experience in resolving software and hardware problems
- Valid driver's license & own vehicle
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues
- Provide support where needed in terms of queries and resolving issues surrounding any servers
- Install and configure software, hardware as well as PC's and laptops
- Maintenance: Ensure systems are backed up and that all clones are in working order
- Document all tasks and duties
Location: Bellville, Cape Town
Remuneration: R10,000 – R15,000 CTC (based on experience)
