We are seeking a Senior Professional Nurse with strong leadership skills to assist with charge duties in Surgical Ward in an upmarket private facility in the southern suburbs. Cases involved a variety of patients with Respiratory failure, Lung diseases, Neology, Renal medicine, medical oncology, Endocrinology. All medical diseases

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the supervision and co-ordination of personnel in the ward
Involved in day-to-day administration of the unit
This unit has a remit of elderly patients and individual care needs to be giving in a compassionate and caring way.
This unit caters for all specialties except Cardiac surgery and offers exciting opportunities including major trauma, Hepatobiliary which offer staff the opportunity to develop their skills and expertise

Applicants for this position must:

Proof or Registration with SANC
Preferably at least 3 years’ experience as a Professional Nurse in a Medical unit
Able to promote excellent patient care through mentoring and quality
