This upmarket private Subacute & Long term facility in Southern Suburbs is seeking a well experienced Enrolled Nurse to provide care to surgical rehab and elderly patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that prescribed medication is administered correctly and timeously and within the guidelines of the Nursing Scope of Practice.
• Promote sound relationships within the staff team
• Timeously and proactively address any staff performance or conduct issues, through effective motivation/counseling/record keeping and discipline
• Daily recording of the application of each individual patient/resident nursing care plan
• Ensuring that medication charts are written up correctly.

Requirements:

• Must be SANC registered as an Enrolled Nurse
• Have experience in Neuro, Stroke, Orthopaedics, Geriatrics, as well as experience within sub-acute environment
• Must have at least 2 – 3 years’ experience in Orthopaedics or Surgical Rehab.
• Need to be well presented and well-spoken.
• Strong interpersonal skills, professional communication.
• Ability to work under pressure.
