Duties include:-Attending to all incoming calls and directing them to the relevant receiverReport any fault to the General Manager’s secretary or to Telkom directAdhere to the acceptable standard of answering the switchboard (three rings)Assist with general enquiries on incoming calls and reservations where possibleTaking of messages and distribute accordinglyEnsure you have the relevant information at hand when a doctor or ambulance is requiredMaintain health & safety standards within your DepartmentAcceptable hygienic standardTo perform any such other duties of similar status as the operational need of the employer may require Requirements include:-Grade 12 certificateRelevant diploma in the hospitality industry will be an advantageGood communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsBe able to work under pressureBe able to work as part of a team and on your ownSolid experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel and reservation systemBe able to manage timeHave the initiative to solve problemsMust be sensitive in handling situations and not get personally involvedLight motor vehicle license is essentialPlease send through copies of your qualifications with letters of reference and a head and shoulders photograph with your application.
