• OPERATIONS / ENGINEERING DEGREE
• EXP IN MANUFACTURING ( TEXTILE/ MATTRESS/ WOVEN )INDUSTRY
• EXPERIENCE IN ERP SYSTEMS (SYSPRO)
• EXP IN HIGH VOLUME MANUFACTURING
• TECHNICAL CAPABILITY AND UNDERSTANDING OF TEXTILE INDUSTRY
• EXP IN MANAGING PROFIT AND LOSS RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAINTENANCE
• UNDERSTANDING OF MANUFACTURING, PROCUREMENT AND PLANNING PROCESSES
As a Production Officer you will be involved with the planning, coordination and supervision of manufacturing processes. The Officer will assist the Production manager to ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.
Perform root cause analyses and investigate low machine efficiency to improve operations.
Support and implement continuous improvement activities, processes and procedures to optimise results and improve quality standards.
Ensure that the production plan and sampling is implemented and achieved daily.
Attend planning meeting to give input in the planning of production and sampling.
Ensure output meets quality standards
Overall responsibility for Quality activities with regards to products being produces and production procedures/ processes
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met and adhered to at all times.
Enforce health and safety related policies.
Complete all weekly/daily KPIs.
Attend weekly/daily KPI meeting and highlight areas of improvement.
Distribute KPI graphs in all departments.
Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel
