An opportunity has become available for a System Administrator: Payroll and Rostering system within the HR Department of our client that is a market leader in their field.
JOB OBJECTIVE
The System Administrator Manages the functions on the Profit system and ensures the timeous update of all attendances nationally, by daily monitoring and feedback to operations and plays a key role in the final monthly payroll check and sign off process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Matric + ideally a Relevant Qualification
Minimum 5 years previous Payroll/Rostering Experience
Must be proficient in ALL payroll functions/ Microsoft Word/ Excel/ Internet and E-mail/ payroll system
Must have experience/knowledge of employee rostering
DUTIES:
System Administration on Profit Rostering and Payroll System
Responsible for the Housekeeping function on the Profit System
Management of Profit software house, ensuring the correct implementation of changes in payroll and employee resource rules
Manage the employment process, ensuring that all new employees are reflecting correctly on the Profit system and is allocated in accordance with their employee contract
Managing the roster processes ensuring that sites, posts, new employees are correctly loaded on the system and rostered correctly.
Management all employee attendances and non-attendance transactions being captured on the system and ensuring that all processing are up to date
Verify that the required payroll documents are received, checked for authorization, processed.
Manage the monthly 2nd run process and the proactive management of issues arising out of these pay queries
Ensuring that all staff movements are reflecting correctly.
Manage the process of loading employee bank details before payment and verify that the information received is correct and complete.
Ensure that employees are assisted with payroll related queries and assist with the completion of their required documents.
Operational reports - weekly and monthly
Managing the termination processes of employees, sites, posts and final payoffs.
General admin duties as and when required
Ensuring compliance with systems, payroll rules and processes
Ensuring that tasks are completed within the required deadlines set out ·
Ensure that all users are assisted with the Profit system.(user set up, training and assistance when required)
