Required:
BSc/National Diploma Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
At least 3+ years experience in the IT/Telecoms industry and specifically the application of Information Technology within the telco space of which at least 1 years1 should be applicable experience at an internationally recognized operator.
? Telecommunications And IT Protocols: SS7, POP/IMAP and SMTP, FTP, SNMP, LDAP, HTTP, XML/RPC, SSL, SIP, H.323, SGCP, MGCP, RTP, voice and video codes (G7.x, etc.), SOAP, WML, MM7, XML, XHTML, TCP/IP, etc...
? System Architecture And Design Skills: Activity diagrams, business requirements gathering and feedback, capacity upgrade planning, deployment and test planning, flowcharts, interaction diagrams (sequence), state machine diagramming, system topology diagrams and data flow diagrams, system requirement specifications, use case diagramming, regression testing, etc.
? Development/Scripting Languages: C/C++, VBA, Erlang, Java, Perl, PHP, etc.
? Unix and Linux operating systems, etc.
? HP, SUN hardware, storage, etc.
? Oracle, MySQL, etc.
