Purpose of the job
Responsible to support, install, maintain, software products on various environments to ensure
continuous service to the client.

Key Responsibility Area:
To plan and implement for infrastructure Preparation to ensure functional mainframe server. To manage and
administer operating systems, software and 3rd party software to ensure functional operating system. To provide
user support to clients to ensure customer satisfaction. To provide input into the units monthly and quartely
reports regarding mainframe usage.

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications: A National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
and/or equivalent. Experience: 3 -5 years working experience in System Programming(Mainframe Systems).

Technical Competencies Description:
Knowledge of: Knowledge of Z/OS, Z/LINUX, Z/VM and other software tools i.e. BMC, CA etc. IT hardware and
software. Skills: System Programming; Basic project management; Self motivated, Judgement, Organising,
Planning, Assertiveness, Result, Sense of urgency, Service Orientation, Analytical, Client focus, Communication,
Skills transfer, Presentations; Attention to detail; Logical thinking.

Other Special Requirements:
The incumbent is required to consult and interact with clients and work on standby.
