We are urgently recruiting for a suitably qualified and experienced System Administrator who will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure in the company.

You will satisfy the following criteria:

• Matric
• IT Diploma or certificate in relevant operating systems
• 3 -5 years’ experience in the installation, configuration, upgrade, monitoring, maintenance and administration of operating systems and hardware

Must have systems experience and knowledge with regards to:
• Excellent DNS Skill to maintain split dns internal vs external.
• Experience in networking and firewalls
• Cloud experience
• Ruby scripting experience
• Experience with Foreman and VMware
• Can read and work with logs
• Some DBA experience
• Experience with maintaining linux environments

• Windows :
o Support Windows server 2008. Installation , system hardening , roles ,
o Support our Microsoft 365 email server – office 365: Integrate in on site Active directory server via federation services.
o Active directory experience.
o Excellent DNS Skill to maintain split dns internal vs external.

• Networking:
o Experience in networking and firewalls
o Ipsec tunnels
o NATing
o Cloud experience
o Fault finding -analytical skills

• Dev ops:
o Puppet
o Ruby scripting experience
o Experience with Foreman and VMware
o Can read and work with logs
o Some DBA experience
o Experience with maintaining linux environments

• Security knowledge
o Worked choosing suppliers/ contracts / analyses bandwidth costs

Location: Successful incumbent will primarily be based in Cape Town.
