Duties of the System Administrator, in brief, would be the day to day operational running of existing server and network infrastructure, including managing data backups, ensuring operational continuity of systems and performing project-based work for implementation of new and replacement systems as required.
Requirements are:
At least 2 years in a similar Systems Administration role.
Very good proficiency level in core Microsoft enterprise technologies:
Server OS from 2003 to 2012
Workstation OS from Windows XP to Windows 8
AD and Group Policies
Software Deployment
Systems Centre
Data Protection Manager
SQL Server (NOT DBA, but server configuration and management)
Sharepoint experience advantageous
Strong networking (Ethernet, LAN, WAN (MPLS), VPN) experience a must
Enterprise class IP telephony experience or exposure advantageous
Avaya telephony experience would be very advantageous
Linux server experience advantageous
