Systems Analysts - Contract Roles (Banking /Financial Services)

We are urgently seeking seasoned Systems Analyst with experienced gained within the Financial Services sectors. Our client is an extremely prestigious financial services institution looking for an experienced analyst, who will join their growing Johannesburg team to help progress with steady improvements in application interfaces and system technology base.

You will be a key player in some exciting and company-changing system-related projects that are currently in the pipeline, and will be responsible for business, system and functional analysis and design.

You will possess experience in the following areas:
• Experience of working with complex technical systems (within the Finance Sector - Investment Banking/Banking/Finance domain expertise)
• Systems analysis, requirements definition and business architecture experience
• Financial Regulatory, Risk and Data Protection Laws knowledge / experience needed
• Excellent relationship building skills, able to work with various departments and manage stakeholder expectations
• Analysis and design experience of business systems and functionality

You will work alongside a highly professional and successful team, and add value across a range of exciting, high-profile projects.

Educational and proficiency level:
• Degree in Information Technology / Systems, or similar
• 4+ years overall experience, (Systems Analyst/ Structured Systems Analysis and Functional/Technical Analysis)
• Full SDLC exposure
• Agile
• Process mapping
• Requirements gathering techniques
• SQL, UML, OO
