Job Description  
Job Function
Creating, Facilitating new features required by our client and providing production support
 
Responsibilities

• Business and Systems analysis of more complex requirements
• Problem solving and Diagnostic work
• Forming an integral part of the systems development life cycle
• Understanding the business issues and data challenges of client’s organisation and industry
• Gain in-depth functional knowledge of our products
• Handle complex requirements and take responsibility for the performance of juniors on their requirements
• Creating functional specifications and system design specifications from User Requirement Specifications for new features required by clients
• Reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, business and systems processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
• Facilitating Business and Functional Design sessions and various meetings with clients
• Facilitate functional / technical design sessions with the development teams.
• Taking responsibility during the development life cycle to resolve any business and functional related issues
• Performing integration testing to ensure that solution for new feature is functioning in integrated system environment and supporting testing efforts
• Providing production support (3rd line) for Helpdesk calls on business related issues
• Taking ownership to ensure new product features are delivered successfully
• Mentoring of junior system analysts
• Providing progress reports
• Ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
• Applying project standards and project methodologies of Isis
• Providing innovative solutions for product features
• Keeping abreast of industry developments in area of expertise
• Identifying and providing solutions for improvement in internal processes
• Consistently delivering high quality service to clients
• Continuously seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
• Support Seniors in the management of client relationships (clients are customer and development teams)   

 
Job Requirements  
Education Required

• University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

 
Experience

• 5-7 years’ experience in IT, with 3+ years in analysis experience in full SDLC

 
Essential Competencies

• Must have an understanding in the areas of application programming, database and systems design
• Previous programming experience advantageous
• Experience in telecommunications industry advantageous
• Extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices within Telecommunications and IT Industry
