Systems Analyst

Position Type: Full-Time Employee

Role

They are inviting applications for a full-time Systems Analyst in our IT Department. The successful applicant will report to the IT Systems Manager and will be responsible for supporting all functions relating to supporting and managing the already installed CRM/ERP software solution. Process analysis, user training, customization and report writing will be some of the required tasks for the position.

The IT environment is an international multi-site configuration consisting of a mixture of remote and on-site users accessing IT infrastructure via multiple connection technologies during all hours of the day. The user base is more than 150 strong between the offices and growing very rapidly.
Responsibilities:

Primary tasks will include the following:

1. System Documentation

· Create and update all system workflows and design documents to support change management

· Create and update all system configurations to support change management

· Analyze existing business processes to identify possible areas of improvement

2. CRM/ERP Training and Support Call management

· Create general training documentation with department managers for functional training conducted by departments

· Conduct initial user training in CRM/ERP before departmental functional training

· First line support on any CRM/ERP related support calls

3. CRM/ERP Customizations and Testing

· Design, test and implement customizations for CRM/ERP in C#

· Design, test and implement data extracts via SQL scripts

· Design, test and implement reports using Crystal Reports and SQL scripts

· Test customizations received from CRM/ERP provider before roll-out to live environment

4. CRM/ERP Change Management

· Evaluate impact of change requests to CRM/ERP

· Evaluate impact of change requests to future upgrades of the CRM/ERP

· Project manage change requests from initial request phase to roll-out phase

· Document change requests to the CRM/ERP in system workflows on roll-out

· Train users on new system modules rolled-out

· Support CRM/ERP provider during the change roll-out

The following skills and experience are requirements for the position:

· A degree/diploma in IT/Systems, or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution in Information. Higher Grade Math in Grade 12 required.

· Essential that any candidates have experienced in system design methodologies, relational databases, project management, Microsoft Excel and SQL scripting resources.

· 2 to 5 years’ experience
Knowledge: The candidate must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

o System analysis, design & programming

o Computer networks and security

o E-mail & internet programs

· Skills: The candidate must demonstrate the following skills:

o Analytical and problem solving skills

o Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
