A Financial Leader who has a large focus on innovation seeks a Systems Analyst to work closely with Business Analysts, Architects and Developers in order to design new IT solutions, modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements, with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity.
 
Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• TOGAF certification
• 5 years’ work experience as a systems analyst
• Advanced experience in Object Oriented design, Service Oriented Architecture, database design and Java
• Advanced knowledge of ERDs, process flow charts, sequence diagrams and use cases
• UML
• SQL – Database design, queries, reporting
• Database performance analysis and tuning
• Web app development
• Web services; Service Oriented Architecture
• Enterprise Messaging Bus architectures
• Modelling tools (Enterprise Architect)
• Write pseudo-code
• Strong skills to investigate and analyze information in troubleshooting
• Project management principles and SDLC
• SQL and database design skills
• Java coding techniques and the ability to read and understand code
• Thorough understanding of process flows and business rules and how this is modeled in the IT systems
• Experience working in a large corporate environment
