• Capital intensive project roll out across broadcast studios, media processing/management, and playout facilities.
• Primary lead for architecting, designing, and delivering holistic and pragmatic solutions to complex problems that consider business, technical and end user operations.
• Design and recommend solutions employing integrated technologies.
• Detailed system design & system integration processes (AutoCAD and Visio)
• Translate business and user requirements into architectural frameworks and designs.
• Proactively identify and recommend architectural enhancements across the broadcast value chain.
• Interface with vendors to resolve hardware and software problems
• Interface with clients to resolve service related issues
• Develop plans, schedules and requirements for the deployment of systems
• Develop effective processes and procedures
• Provide technical guidance to other staff.
• Drive efficiency in the broadcast value chain through adoption of appropriate technology
• Keeping abreast and incorporating current technology trends such as IP and SDNs (Software defined networks) across designs to improve longevity of solutions.
• Facilitate and lead the evaluation and selection products/systems.
• Budget tracking, spend forecast and reporting function.
• Manage supplier relationships with local reps and international principle suppliers.

Qualifications Required:

• BTech/Bsc/NDip Info system, Elect Eng
• Project management (PMP, PMBOK) - Desirable
• CCNP- Cisco Certified Network Professional -Desirable
• 7+ years’ specific experience
