The Systems Engineer will primarily be responsible for performing automated day-to-day system management, implementing and maintaining required standards & providing support to end-users.
Key Requirements:
Qualification/ Certification
- Advanced Technical qualification for Accountable Service areas e.g. MCITP.
- ITIL v3 or MOF v4;
Knowledge, Skills, Experience>
- Intermediate to advance skills in SCOM;
- Skills in building distributed application and Dashboards;
- Advance skills in building custom management packs, views and alerts;
- Advance SQL reporting skills;
- Advance SQL database installation, configuration, administration skills;
- Advance ITIL understanding and experience;
- Intermediate to advance MS Excel skills specifically filters, pivot tables and graphs;
- Minimum of 2 Years’ experience in IT Service Management functions (ITIL, MOF, ISO9000, ISO 27001/2);
- Minimum of 3 Years’ experience in Technical Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis;
- Basic scripting will be beneficial.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Diagnose, investigate and resolve incidents and problems;
- Perform numerous management activities in accordance with the contract deliverables;
- Conduct request fulfilment;
- Execute pre-planned tasks as per documented instructions;
- Execute daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and as needed tasks as defined per technology/product;
- Perform predictable, repeatable and automated day-to-day system management and Support, Implement and Maintain Standards.
