Job Description:

Implement engineering changes through the Engineering Change Request (ECR) process.
Implement new electrical and mechanical systems by following the launch readiness process.
Specify electrical and mechanical components based on technical requirements.
Research, design, drawing preparation and implementation of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Liaise with purchasing and logistics regarding stock codes and BOM’s for new parts and changes.
Prepare component, assembly and installation drawings.
Liaise with and support production activities.
Must be able to do mechanical design work.
Ability to model in Solid Works, including changing existing drawings and creating new drawings.
Support internal and external technical queries.

Qualifications:

Minimum: Relevant BTech / Mech Eng. or equivalent technical qualification.
At least 3 years related experience.
Working CAD knowledge (Solid Works) essential.
Strong computer skills in order to analyse, organize and present data and information using Microsoft Office Suite including excellent Excel skills.
Experience with Syspro will be advantageous.
Sailing experience will be advantageous.
Working experience in marine mechanical and electrical systems.
