What the role is about:

• Design, develop and implement organisational development strategies and training programs for the Market Area Africa.
• Lead and manage Learning and Development team and projects.
• Ensuring that Learning and Development programs are aligned to the HR policies, internal projects and business strategies.
• Develop, design and implement talent management processes, projects and strategies, including recruiting programs.
• Responsible for enhancing the level of talent and employability in the organization by designing and implementing personnel and leadership programs, ensuring all initiatives are integrated and aligned with the business strategy and goals.
• Ensure quality and efficiency of qualification measures, leadership and employee development programs for the Market Area Africa.
• Responsible for designing and facilitating workshops, seminars and training.
• Performing external market analysis for a consistent further development of qualification and talent development programs.
• Provide support in all HR-Transformation and organizational development related topics.

Requirements:
• The ideal candidate should possess a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 5-8 years experience in organizational/leadership/talent development. Understanding personnel and organisational development processes is required
• Project experience, ideally in the learning and development environment, is important for this role.
• Knowledge of the relevant skills development legislation and BEE are essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and interact with people across all levels. Must be fluent in English.
• Ability to adapt to change and presentation skills are equally important to the role.
• Candidate must be target oriented, have the ability to work independently and under pressure, as well as flexible and adaptable.
